About
Robin Cuffs 'n Collar is a surfactant-rich pre-treatment designed to tackle the stubborn "ring around the collar" and oily grime that collects on sleeve cuffs.
* Primary Action: It targets "body soil"—a mix of sweat, sebum (skin oil), and dust—that regular detergents often fail to lift in a standard wash cycle.
* Key Features:
* Direct Application: Comes in a bottle with a nozzle or applicator for targeted treatment.
* Gentle Formula: Unlike harsh industrial solvents, it is safe for most daily-wear fabrics like cotton, polyester, and linen.
* Whitening Support: Often contains optical brighteners (like other Robin products) to help restore the crisp look of white shirts.
Safety
While Robin is designed for household safety, bulk storage and professional use require basic precautions:
* Skin Sensitivity: Although it is labeled "safe on hands," the concentrated surfactants can cause dryness or mild irritation with prolonged contact. For staff doing manual spot-cleaning, PVC or Nitrile gloves are recommended.
* Eye Contact: If the liquid splashes into the eyes, it can cause severe stinging. Flush with clean water for at least 15 minutes.
* Inhalation: It has a mild, fresh fragrance and is generally non-volatile, so respiratory risks are minimal compared to solvent-based removers like Star Brand.
* Environmental: Like all surfactant-based cleaners, it should not be disposed of in large quantities directly into water bodies; it should go through standard effluent treatment if used in an industrial laundry setup.
Storage
* emperature: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid temperatures above 40°C for extended periods, as this can cause the liquid to separate or lose its fragrance.
* Light Exposure: Keep away from direct sunlight; UV rays can degrade the optical brighteners in the formula, making it less effective at "whitening" whites.
* Stacking: When storing cases in your warehouse, ensure they are kept upright. Surfactants can be "slippery," and a leak from a poorly stacked pallet can create a significant slip hazard on the floor.
* Shelf Life: Usually 24 months from the date of manufacture.
